Klaus W. Wellershoff is Chairman of the Board at Wellershoff & Partners. He was previously Chief Economist at the Swiss Bank Corporation and then at UBS. Klaus teaches economics at the University of St. Gallen and works pro bono with several foundations and organisations supporting science, culture and sports.

Previously, she worked for a global corporation for several years as Executive Assistant / Event and Congress Manager in Switzerland, China, Russia, Poland and Ukraine. Fabienne Roder holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in event and project management from the Lucerne School of Business.

Katja Gisler is senior investment strategist at Wellershoff & Partners. She develops the underlying econometric models that are the basis for our investment strategies and the tactical investment decisions. She studied financial econometrics at the University of St. Gallen, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Pennsylvania and received her Master’s in quantitative economics and finance and her PhD in economics and finance, both from the University of St. Gallen. Previously, she worked at a private bank and an investment bank and as a financial mathematician in risk management at the Swiss Life Group. Katja Gisler is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).

Dr. Costa Vayenas

Costa Vayenas is Senior Investment Consultant at Wellershoff & Partners. Previously he worked as an analyst for UBS in London, New York and Zurich. His recent roles included Head of Research and Head of Credit for emerging markets. He has lectured at the University of Zurich as well as the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH). He is the author of numerous investment-related publications about emerging markets, and is active in the digital start-up sector.


Johannes von Mandach

Johannes von Mandach is Senior Economist at Wellershoff & Partners and responsible for macroeconomic analyses. Previously, he worked at BAK Economics, a private research institute specializing in macroeconomics. He holds a Master's degree in International and Monetary Economics from the University of Bern. He also has a part-time job as a soccer referee in the highest and second highest leagues in Switzerland.

Carla Ganzoni is a Junior Research Assistant at Wellershoff & Partners. Following the successful completion of her banking training at UBS in Zurich and London, she gained valuable experience in Business Management and in UBS’s Chief Investment Office. Prior to joining Wellershoff & Partners, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Economics at the University of Zurich. In the fall of 2024, she is set to commence her master's degree in economics.

Vincent Wellershoff works at Wellershoff & Partners as a Quantitative Research Analyst. He specializes in portfolio simulations, historical backtests and performance analysis. After having worked at Wellershoff & Partners in 2018 already, he took up a mathematics degree at ETH Zurich.
